Chocolate Tart Recipe
Chocolate tart also called as chocolate cream pie, it is one of the most preferred forms of tart available for eating and other prominent fillings are fruit, eggs. The two dishes tart and pie are very close to each other with no clear distinction. This dish was named as “Australia’s most famous dessert”, the steps guided below will help on preparation of the chocolate tart at home.
Ingredients For Base
Plain flour – 2 Cups ,300gms (10 Oz)
Butter – 150gms (5 Oz)
Egg – 1
Sugar – ¼ cup
Water – 1 tablespoon
Method For Base
1) On a bowl mix all the ingredients, to make a dough.
2) With the help of pin, make a round circular shaped base for the pastry and put over the tart pan.
3) Carefully press the edges of the tart and do remove the excess dough.
4) Preserve the tart inside fridge for 30 minutes.
5) After 30 minutes, bake the tart on microwave on 180C for around 15 minutes.
6) The tart base will be ready.
Ingredients For Filling
Chocolate- as per the choice , dark can be preferred 300gms(10Oz)
Butter – 100gms (3.5 Oz)
Milk – ½ cup
Honey – 1 table spoon
Salt – a pinch
Cream (optional) –2 table spoon
Method For Filling
1) Mix the ingredients except milk and mix them well.
2) Now add the milk on the bowl.
3) Apply the chocolate layer over the tart base and preserve it in fridge for 4 hours.
Garnishing
Sprinkle some chocolate chips over the tart and enjoy the delicious mouth watering tart at home.
